Has anyone used a TV calibration DVD? looking to tweak my TV but don't want to fork out for a proper sensor & software etc, so was looking into the DIY DVDs. One in particular has got good reviews - Digital Video Essentials

Has anyone used this or anything like this? was it good?

same bluerays and DVD's have calibration options, the Phantom Menace for one. if you don't have it, renting may be an option.

yeah i hear you can do that with all sony disks by typing 'SONY' at the menu (or '7663') but havent given it a try.

Thanks for the PM

I've used the essentials one and its better than nothing. I was lucky enough to get hold of a full EyeOne package which I used to calibrate my TV, even ended up going into the engineer menus to get it perfect :) Made a hell of a lot of difference!
