anyone used this before ? for breaking down ammonia nitrites and nitrate ? its actually a denitrator

I have never used it, but coming from Tunze it is likely to be very good. I especially like the fact that you can grow plants out of the top. If you had the room it would make a great place to plant a mangrove, though this feature is ideally suited to use in a FW aquarium.

doesnt seem like your usual 20 dollar piece of crap, and like was said before it is a tunze. If you really do need it (no matter what you do nitrates wont go down) yeah sure, but if you dont exactly need a one, dont get one.

It isnt exactly cheap.... If a fuge and stuff is working or you havent tried that yet, go for one.
