Trying To Get My Jack Dempsey To Eat Lettuce

I was wondering how I can teach him how to take it. He always just ignores it how would I go about teaching him that is is food? Or if there is someother vegetable matter that is better for him how would I go about preparing it for him and then getting him to eat it?

Maybe combine it with something like bloodworm, chop it up very finally and mix with bloodworm then freeze the block to make your own frozen prepared mix,

Thats funny. Just feed them Veggie based flakes and its better for them then Lettuce it will have the Vitamins he needs.

Check out the freezer section at you LFS mine do some wonderfull brine shrimp combo's
Brine shrimp & Garlic
Brine shrimp & spirulina
Brine shrimp & spinach

Yeah, not just flakes. There are a number of pellets on the market with loads of veg content. That's what I use to get fibre into many of mine.
