True Parrot Cichlid

hey guys

i've just found an advert of a guy selling a true parrot cichlid which is a fish i've always wanted to try my hand with. Basically do you think it would be alright in my 100gallon with the following - Female Nic, Blue acara, 4 geophagus surinamesis and a rotkeil severum?

there is nothing in there thats too aggressive so i would say if the parrot is calm then go for it. if it doesnt work out then just send it my way just dont tell star

It should be for a while but it will eventually get to big for a 100G.

Star has all ready seen the add on AC, too rudy far for me and its stupidly cheap too!!!!

i did speak to the staff at wharf yesterday and they have a 6-7 inch true parrot but its not for sale yet as it has a sunken belly

I have a true parrot In a 100 gal with 2 uaur 2 severums blue acar and small ebjd. All are fine they lip lock from
time to time but they all seem to keep eachother in check. I need a bigger tank or to sell some fish but for now it works.

Mine is wild caught was 4" when I got her 8 months ago and now is 6". They get as big as oscars. Some get huge 14" some only 11" it depends on the fish. I'm waiting to see how big mine gets and will be looking for a bigger tank. They are slow to mature it can take 2 years for them to get full grown. A 100gal is fine but not with too many other tank mates. Gosh I need a bigger tank.

gosh I wish you guys lived near me. I have been playing with the idea of selling mine. But I will only let it go to a good home and its hard to find someone that can care for big fish well. So I'm keeping her for as long as I can. If I could ship the fish I could find it a good home but not in my area.
