The Auction

Some guidelines
- Fish should be brought in poly boxes, with heat packs where necessary.
- All bids will only be accepted in person, bidding is not possible before the auction.
- If you plan to purchase fish, please ensure you bring a sufficient means of transporting the fish to their new home.

Auction Fee
10% will be taken from the winning bid value, as a fee by North Wales Aquarists Society - SO PLEASE BRING CHANGE!

A final list of the fish which will be available at the auction will be published approximately 1 week before the meeting (18th November 2011)

This will be made available via the forum, and will also be available at the meeting.

Submitting Fish & Items
If you wish to auction any fish or other items then please contact Lisa Davies (07554622750 ) or via PM on the North Wales Aquarists Society Forum, with a full list of what you have, number of lots, number of fish per bag and reserve bid price.
Please also provide your full real name and contact details.

I would also like to ask that you supply a photo of the fish as well so we can put it on the forums prior to the auction, this has been made a decision as the fish become very distressed being taken in and out of their boxes.

Example:
Species: Dwarf Snakehead (Channa gachua)
Number of Lots: 2
Fish per bag: 1
Reserve: Ā£10

Good luck with the auction bit to far north for me though.

Is there any way of finding out about other local fish auctions ?

Is there any way of finding out about other local fish auctions ?

If your a member of a club then your get sent dates of auctions.

Midland charity auctions are June/July and Dec every year in redditch.
Basingstoke have auctions in July and November every year.

Livebearer association have one in Corby in March and another on Nottingham in Oct.

Then catfish and cichlids groups have national auctions as well.

Local clubs also have auctions but you have to be a member to find these out.
