Triggerfish Chewing Through Cables

Hi,

I have heard of some triggerfish getting themselves hurt by biting through powercables that maybe underwater in the aquarium. I was wondering if anyone knew the chances of a triggerfish actually biting through heater cables (or any other cable for that matter) and perhaps if anyone has had it happen to them before? Would they only attempt it if the trigger fish was hungry or bored, or is it completely unpredictable and could happen anytime? Is there a way to stop it or protect the cable in some way? Thankz

You could use a sump to keep the most of the equipment down there
