So i have a 30 gallon tank or so, and i am treating for Ich with some all natural thing i can use for ich with Amano shrimp in the tank. They seem to be doing fine, 3rd day come and gone, but will i have to re-cycle completely? or just a mini-cycle? the instructions on the bottle say that i should go for 7 days, but my ammonia already went from 0ppm - 1ppm in two days.... and i'm afraid it's only gonna get worse. What do i do? if the ich doesnt get to my fish, the ammonia will?

Thanksfully i have two filters... i turned one off completely, and the other i removed the carbon from.

temp is fine, nitrate-nitrites are fine (for now), pH 6.6.

get back to me a.s.a.p.??

Not 100% sure about this, since I use filter floss and I kept the filter running when treating the tank since there was no carbon to leach out the meds. Can't help you with your current problem, but after you use the carbon to remove the meds (after you are finished medicating), you might want to consider running at least one tank with filter media that does not contain carbon.
