hello, i'm wondering how i can treat it without using nitrofurazone as it is not available in CA
can I only use kanaplex? and how do i use it effectively?

If you are fairly certain it is columnaris, using Kanaplex and API's Furan 2 is very effective. But if Furan 2 is not an option, hopefully someone will know alternatives. I used this combo several years ago and it sure did the job. I recall the advice at the time was that adding Kanaplex allowed the Furan 2 to be assimilated by the fish more rapidly. So I don't know if Kanaplex alone is adequate.
