I am leaving for vacation tomorrow. I want to bring my daughter's betta fish who is currently in a small unfiltered hospital tank being treated for fin/tail rot. I currently do 100% daily water changes along with antibiotics. He was getting better, and then I left for a mini-vaca and came back after 3 days to him with almost no tail or dorsal fin. I know he will not make it an entire week. He is starting to show a small improvement.

My question is, what is the best way to travel with him in a car for 2 hours? Should I put him back in the cup I bought him in, or should I bag him? I dont want him sloshing and banging around.

This might sound odd, but if driving, put him in an airtight bag, like you would from LFS, or in the item he came in, put that in a dark bag then a carrier and put handles over gear stick and dangle back on passnger side, put some towels around the back. Being on gearstick it can't go no where and towels will stop it banging. Perfect.
