Third time’s the charm?...guppy grass?...

Hi all! So trying one more thing; guppy grass. Some came today from a recommended EBay source and I have a couple of questions please? How long do I soak it before I add it to my tank? How many times should I rinse it? Is rinsing more important than soaking? And- do I trim off the ends that look brown? I’ve included a picture of it in a 2 gal bucket. Thank you so much for your help!
