As you may be aware I am currently cycling a 10 gallon tank.

I bought it becuase I thought smaller would be better. After reading up I am now of the opinion I may well be a bit wrong ;p

I am looking at these two tanks at the moment.

As long as I can get one of them at a reasonable price I may well be able to convince the Wife its a good idea.
Lots of flowers & chocs will have to be bought I feel.

Whats your opinion on my choices?

They both look very nice set ups to me; best of luck (with both the bidding and the wife; if I was her I'd pretend to be furious and get extra chocs :p )

im not allowed on ebay at work, but by looking at the link, i see one is a Rio 180. they are good tanks indeed!
Fish keeping is a lot easier with a bigger tank. you just need a bigger bucket! (for water changes)

I am going to view the Rio tomorow. It is calling me a bit more than the black one ;p

Maybe be a bit wary on the 'Italian deisgn' one. Ask the seller some questions of the maker. I'd be inclined to go with the Rio as it is a reputable brand.

They both look nice to me. If they sell for anything less than triple the price they are at atm they would be a bargain imo.

Just been talking to the Commander in Chief & she has said ok.

Weeeeeeee, big tank for me.

Seapets have the Juwel Rio 180 & cabinet for £326.95 :hyper:

Lets see what i can get it for, seeing as the lights arnt working properly.

i cant go see the Rio today as my car has died. Shall i just go for it anyway? Seems a genuine bloke on the phone & has answered all my queries.

I'd go for it, and if it turns out to be battered/whatever then just take it back to him and say "this isn't as it was described, full refund please or the cops are coming round"

did you say the lights were broken? i believe thats a common Juwel problem. search on here (possibly in the DIY section) on how to fix it

But saying that i havent had any issues with my lights
