Thinking Of Getting Some Shrimps

thinking of getting some shrimps for my tank but i've got a tiger oscar and a plec but thinking of getting rid of them cuz they are just boring now mite get a load of small cichlids any advice on what shrimps i can get and what cichlids or fish go with them. my tank is a rio 300 thanks

The oscar will most definitely eat the shrimp on sight. Best not to mix them unless you want them to be food.
