I was bored tonight

Cracking pictures. Love the old before/after shots. They put everything about fish into perspective.

You must be somewhat dissapointed with how your EBJD has turned out so far. Its unfortunate but this is all to common with Electric Blue Jacks. I was having a conversation with someone else on here recently about this. There really isnt any clear way of knowing how they will mature unless you've seen the parents of the fish, even then you have the odd one that just comes out oddly coloured.

I'm loving the green sev, he is beautifull!

They are stunning.
Well done you on the photography, cracking clear pics.

Keith.

Thanks guys.

Yes I am pretty upset with my ebjd. I would never get another. It's a fish that you need to get from a Good breeder. The ebjd is my only real dud.

i love your green sev , and that parrot just makes me drool. i agrre with you about your red spotted sev , if its only grown that much in almost a year id say deffinately runt/stunted.

also your pigeon blood , really illustrates how much difference there is between a juvenile discus and the subadult/adult colouration .

Thanks. Yes you never know with discus how pretty they may or may not be. Thats the fun of it I think. As you can see my discus are far from show qulity but they are healthy, happy, and I love them.

As for the Red severum he has always been the little guy in the big tank. He still has a month to put on a few inches. BUT with Red severums being line bred I will not be suprised if he stays small. Also being the little fish at the bottom of the pecking order for so long might have stressed him and there for causing him to not grow as big.

My green severum he is still growing but slowly.
