Ohhhh these fish. All of them is so common can be seen in all of river in my country, Thailand.
I love how you can see so many aquarium fish, naturally where you live. Its such a blessing! :)

But the river is next to cloth factory, people throwing trashes on the river, shoes, oil bottle. It seems like natural fish didnt die though natural fish is really tough.
 
I think its really awesome that you can still see these fish in the wild. I adore these tiny guys.

There are native fish here i would LOVE to keep, but its illegal in my province :(


I do have to say about the kubos, theyre fairly hardy. They survived shipping and acclimation with no issues, no losses and they thrive very well. I find them among the easiest fish to keep of the fish i keep.
 
Where did you order them from?
I am in Canada, so i have only 2 sources.
I ordered them from Angel Fins.


They also go by other names. Neon Green Rasbora, Green Tetra, Yellow Neon Rasbora, Kubotai's Rasbora

The scientific name is microdevario kubotai
