Common plecs grow to 24 inches; bristlenose plecs get nowhere near that big. Yours is a BN isn't it, Phoenix?
 
Yes @essjay ,at least I'm pretty sure. What is a surefire way to check? Also, he/she is an albino.

I think it is a he, just because of his body shape. The can see the bristles on his “nose”, so I’m pretty sure he is a BN pleco.
 
Mine is 15 inches though.
Are you certain your fish is a L001? Just because a seller said it is one, that doesn't mean it is one. The website planet catfish has photos of hundreds of plecs to make sure.

Yes, mine is a bristle nose. So only 4”-6”?
