The game my oscar and I play

Aristotle, my new, tiny little oscar, has invented a game. It's called "oscar pulls plant out of gravel, owner puts it back in." I swear he's doing this on purpose. I've stuck that plant back in the gravel at least 6 times today! Every now and then I'll catch him tugging at the stem, but he quits as soon as he realises I'm watching. It's only one certain plant, too. I think the other ones in his tank have better developed root systems and he can't pull them out as easily. Do any of you have fish with annoying little quirks like this?

yeh oscars do have a tendancy to move plants thats why you barely ever see them in planted tanks at all

Just oscars?

My black lancer just up-rooted nearly every plant i had! I have tried to create as many hiding places out of rocks and wood, but he seem to prefer resting in between my plants...until he up roots them and dashes into the flower pot

Well, if you enjoy this game, then keep it as it is.

Otherwise you could weight the plant down. I say stick with the game.
