The Discus Have Left The Building

the discus are now gone , so in the morning , il nip into town and get 3 bags of sand , then if the tank is up to temp in time il go get a sev and a couple of other fish , if not then il get em saturday .

yeah he was well happy. i sold them for more more than i paid for em tho which is good enough for me , all i was bothered about is not losing money . i thought that what with the economy being screwed up , plus it being close to christmas , i needed to price them attractively to get the quick sale i wanted. i bought em for £180 and sold em for £200 so ive got no complaints. especially as i usually end up giving fish away .

right now ive got a 120g with 6 sterbais , 2 bolivian rams and a bn plec . do you think im overstocked?

plan is 1st thing in the morning to set up temporary accomodation for the remaining fish , drain the tank , get the sand , wash it and put it in , arrange the wood , and re-fill then get it up to temp as quivk as possible ( plenty of kettle boiling no doubt )

then if it is still early enough off to rats cats and elephants to get a red spotted sev , maybe a little gold sev too ( undecided yet if i want 1 sev or 2 ) , a sajica if they have got any , and ,aybe a couple of other fish . altho i want to re-stock quite slowly as i dont want to fill the tank too quickly then see something cool and not have room for it .

I want more discus but just looked at my bank balance and noticed how skint I am and haven't even got the mrs present yet!!!

i know its great the discus were lovely fish but just too restrictive as far as adding other fish for my liking. i am literally chomping at the bit to get back to keeping sevs .

havent got that far yet . gotta ring em in the morning and make sure they still got some left cos they only had 2 on thursday . if they have i will ask them to hold 1 for me
