At this moment the crab is gone, he died about a week ago, but he still lives on in my heart... Pinching my insides...

Thanks! C: He was a happy little crab always climbing and walking around enjoying himself. I need to try brackish water for the next crab though. I only had him for a little over a month so it's not really a surprise he died so soon.

As do I. My girlfriend says they're boring, but when they're actually walking around and climbing on things they're pretty entertaining to watch. I hear they're a lot more active when in brackish water. I already the marine water salt mix, so its just a matter of preparation when I get a new crab.
 
My red crabs seem to be spreading a white substance around the tank coming from the female. Is this good or holy crap.
