Hi, I have had one male guppy more than for a month.

When I first got him his tail color was greenish yellow...it was more yellow than green

but today I have recognized something different...

and I have just realized that his tail has become sky blue color.

Is such thing possible? I am NOT color blind... and I am just shoked to see such change.

I had originally got two male guppies when I first set up my tank.

One of them died few weeks ago, but while he was alive, I could clearly see the difference in their colors.

The now-dead guppy's tail was sky blue and the other was greenish yellow.

Yet, now the greenish yellow has become sky blue..same color as the dead guppy.

What's going on here????

like alot of fish guppies can change there colour with age
my female after breeding changed colour her fins turn a navy blue
i assume your male is just very young and has not stopped developing so there may be more colour change instore

Guppies are one of the many fish that have their colors develop with age. Since most of the fish we find in stores are very young, it is not at all unusual to see the colors deepen and become richer as the fish age.
