my ammonia is zero but my nitrite is wayyyy high

my pH is 7.5

im adding stress zyme bacteria twice a week and im putting a nitra-zorb bag in 2moro

will my nitrite start to drop as a part of the cycle now theres no ammonia?

or shall i take more steps to rid the orrible stuff?

sorry m8 I'm not familiar with your tank (another post? )

How long's it been set-up? - any fish?

:)

its been set up about 4 weeks now.....10 gallon tank, 3 fighters, small gourami, small ram n 3 small tetra's

normal pump filter and an undergravel filter

3 live plants

hope this helps

Hi Teknikz

The Nitra-zorb will reduce the level of the nitrite. You do need some nitrite in the tank for the bacteria to grow and feed on. The cycling process takes about 6 weeks,(yes I know it can be done much quicker). Your nitrite levels should start to drop naturally soon.
You seem to have a few too many fish in the tank, for such a new setup.

Add the Nitra-Zorb. watch the levels drop, and keep an eye on them.
