Tear In The Cadual Fin? Or A Double Tail?

I hadn't noticed this before but my VT, Fester has a tear in his tail, or is he a DT mix? Here's a picture.

Sorry 'bout the qaulity, my camera decided to die. But yeah, what do you think? There's nothing in his tank that he could have tear it on that I can see..

i would say that it's a tear in the fin. he doesn't have the extended dorsal fin and a double tail would have 2 completely separate lobes in the caudal fin.

Yeah I agree with the above..... when did you notice this split though?

I have no idea how he could have split it. He is in a tank literally with nothing in it but very fine sand.

I noticed yesterday.

i have had a male with DT in him and the tip of his tail was split as well, but it was in fact just how is fin grew, so it is possible.
