When you do your weekly water changes and you add tape safe, can too much course problems? as i been putting the quantity of tap safe to equal the amount of water in my tank not the percentage of water change.

This has been asked in the past and I think the general opinion is that it wouldn't do much harm, if at all. I would be more careful in future though.

Should be nothing wrong with it at all. Those of us that refill our tanks directly with a hose and who believe in using conditioner will dose our tanks according to the tank size, rather than the amount of tap we added. On top of that, if we're still cycling we'll often dose at 1.5x to 2x whatever the instructions tell us, just in case the chlorine product happens to be high in the pipes currently.
