Tankmates For 20 Gallon?

I'm cycling a brand new 20 gallon for my betta (fishless cycle; he's still in his old tank), but I was wondering what fish won't be fin nippers. My betta won't hurt anything, I gave him a mirror and he just swam by it without flaring. I'll take any nice ideas other than platies or cories since I already have them in a different tank.

Whe choosing the right tankmates it can be a very complicated proccess as where a male Betta can be acceptable of fancy guppies but a different one won't be accepting of neons. Assuming that your Betta is very docile, and you have optimal ground cover I would recommend a mix of.

1 male Betta

2 Sparkling gouramis

8-10 boraras brigittae

7-8 kuhli loaches (Sand Needed)

or

10 Habrosus Corydoras (sand needed)
