I have 4 angels 3 cardinal tetras 4 skirted tetras 1 pleco and 1 golden dojo loach. What else should I put in this tank. It's a 46 gallon tank. It still has a lot of room in it. I have maybe 20 inches of fish over all and most of them are full grown. The only thing left to really grow in the tank is the pleco.
Any ideas guys/gals?

correction... 30 inches....

Hi, i would get more tetras maybe have big shoals, they should be in a minimum of 6.

aren't the Angels trying to eat the cardinals? i'm going to get Angels and would like cardinals, but i assumed they would fit nicely into their mouths so was going to get harlequin rasboras instead.

The cardinals need to be established in the tank before the angels if you do it that way. That way the angels will leave them alone. Also make sure to get a whole school of them so that you don't have any lonely ones that are on their own to be picked off.

If angel fish grow up with smaller fish they dont bother them :good:

Will depend on the individual. I think this is often true but I have an angel that "grew up with neons" and is now hunting them. Has killed one neon and one oto and is still quite small. So depends on the individual.

Hey Ya'll
Just thought I would let you know what I ended up doing. I ended up getting a school of long finned red mirrored tetras and a peacock eel to put in this tank. I also moved my Dojo to this tank. They all seem to be doing really well. Thanks for ya'lls input
