If the two gourami are both male, they will likely get a bit feisty, but to what degree it is difficult to predict. Gourami are sedate fish and should not be housed with active fish like the tetras or the loaches.

All of this underlines the risk of taking advice from store staff. Best not to, without first checking yourself before making the commitment. We've all had to learn this the hard way.
What would you recommend me doing now then ? Mabeyy give the loach back to the store? And just have the grouarmis and then if they get too aggressive with each other take one male back,

The only way to answer your questions in the last two posts, is by asking what sort of fish tank do you want in the end? If you like the tetras that you have you can find fish that are easily compatible, and I would not rule out the loaches. The gourami could go back, or they may be OK even if not in the best situation. Or you could return the loach, and keep the upper fish (gourami stillnot in the best way but given you have them...) and have cory catfish for the substrate. And another upper fish species.
