This is my 2nd day on this forum, I spent all night last night trying to find answers to my below questions - if they exist elsewhere on this forum please forgive....
Just wondering if anyone has a good way of achieving a good perspective of depth in a non-planted tank.
Looking through all of the wonderful TOTM pics I have noticed that alot of ppl have managed to create hills/valleys/banks with their substrate - how do you stop it from leveling out over time? -what substrate (or mixture of) is best to prvent this?
Also, I'm thinking of starting a Lake Tanganyika Frontosa species tank, has anyone got some good ideas on layout or pics (theirs or not).
As this will be my first cichlid tank I am not to sure on min tank size / stocking levels and how much of the tank should be taken up by decor.
