2 x Rainbow sharks 3-4 inch
1 x Sailfin Pleco 3 inch

1 x BGK
15 x Pink tetras (any other shoal fish recomended???)
4 x leporinus

i want to up the numbers so that all the fish will grow at the same rate.

hi
update on the situation
i woke up this morning and felt as if i had to change the gravel to sand. so of i went to get some sand four hours later everyhting has been done and the tank is now clearing but not clear enough for pics.

i have also been reading that the botia's have some relation/previously been with african cichlids
IS THIS TRUE????
i hope so
if they can be also what would i be able to add? also what about my other fish?

I wouldn't have 2 Rainbow Sharks in a tank, they'll just kill eachother

in regards to the rainbow sharks people have had mixed opinions on them as they have been known to fight but not always and at the moment they are always swimming together and guarding a cave all the time. (very rarly chase each other)
after more research it looks like there is too much difference in parameters between current set up and ciclids
what shoaling fish wont get eaten by the above?

how would a pair of golden gouramis/opale gouramis and a large shoal of tiger barbs (15-20?

ATM they are quite small but when bigger the aggression will kick in

oooooo, nice big tank, now I want one of those. Think i will kick the wife & kids out & just fill up the house with water.

From what i have read its not a good idea to have two sharks in the same tank.

well we will have to wait and see the outcome
all the planned fish seem to be aggressive to some extent so hopefully they will share the aggression.
any thought on the previuos post? also the pink tetras look good that i have but how well would they survive.
i need some middle -top fish as everything is bottom at the moment.

gutted is not the word.
another mistake.
i came home to find i had 3 x botias dead on top of the braces on the tank. jumped up and obviously could not get back down.
i need to fit a cover.
i never thought about this problem as the lid is tight (not a gap)
best thing to cover that can go under the light + lid
