Tanganyikan Tanks

I am looking to start a new tank with Cichlids from the Lake Tanganyika. I want some inspiration and advice please on where to start and anything important I should know about them please. It will be nice if you can share your experience and even post pictures of your current Tang. Cichlid tanks. I also like to keep the Tanganyikan Eels with them. The tank size I am looking at is 5ft long.
