Max size: up to 1 meter in the wild. 30-60cm more commonly seen in aquaria.
Minimum tank size: due to its large size, tandanus catfish should be kept in massive aquaria or ponds. A 4 meter x 2 meter will suffice.
Temperament: predatory and aggressive, best kept with other large fish like Murray cod or pacu.
Habitat: lakes and creeks in australia
Water parameters: will do fine in cold water. Doesnt care about PH or hardness aspects of water quality.
Diet: pellets, flake, wafers, fish, insects, crustaceans and just about any meaty food that can fit in its mouth.
Tank section: bottom dweller.
Appearance: large whiskers and a eel tail.
Breeding: has been successfully imitated in captivity.

these three were kept in this tank for 3 months before being moved into our dam. I'm feeding them things like live fish,  dead shrimp, pellets, crab ,worms etc. every 1-2 weeks rsz_img_3590.jpg

Couldnt find any clear ones. sorry.
P.S- these pics are a little blurry due to the catfishes rapid movements. faster than a zebra danio when they want to be.
