I'm looking for a tall plant to fill out the back of my betta tank. The lighting is very low, so I need a plant that will tolerate those conditions. I don't use any CO2 in the tank, but I do put in some fertilizer. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Anacharis, they will grow as tall as you let them.

I have anacharis in that tank before. It did really well for a while, then it all suddenly died off. Not sure what happend to it.

Hygrophila polysperma or h.siamensis 53B

This is a good one. I'll look into it and see if my LFS has it.

Did you change the temperature up?

Amazon Sword is good.

Hmm...I'm not sure. I don't think so. My betta had velvet, so I did raise the temp, but I think the anacharis died before that.
I'll see about the amazon sword. I bet my betta would like to lay on that too.

No real way of knowing, could have been anything. Mine thrives. Anyway, good luck!
