ok i have a swortail and i know bout the gravid spot and stuff but does their gravid spot turn black too..i have guppies so are they like that? I see a BIG gravid spot but ist is pinkish reddish so can someone help me out?

Yes it normal a black gravid spot.

From what i learnt they can be pink and red too, ask in the livebearers section you will get more replys.

If the fish is red, orange or pink, the gravid spot may well stay pinkish; it does on my platies.
