It seems my betta cannot make himself neutrally bouyant. I've noticed him try to swim down, but he struggles and then just floats backwards to the top, quite rapidly. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Swim bladder is caused by,
Over feeding.
Bad diet.
Bad Water quality.
Unstable temp.
Internal parasites.
Bacterial,
Injury to the swim bladder.

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
What do you feed your fish.

If the fish is still eating, cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down,
pop out of shell, mush into small pieces and add to the tank.
If you thinks it bacterial add a bacterial med.
