I read some where that you can feed sweet potato. Do you put it in raw?

I would soften it a bit. I've found that 1 minute in the microwave is usually good for doing that. I do it with zucchini, but sweet potato is good to, from what I hear.

Don't be surprised if your plec doesn't take to it the first time round.
Mine was having none of it for the first two attempts but persistence paid off in the end

just blanch it in boiling water for 30 secs or so they will eat normal spud aswell, in fact most veg is fair game but like the previous poster says it can take time.

i used it raw, my L191 in particular seemed to like it, wasn't such a hit with the rest
