We have a 20 gallon hexagon tank (~15" across, ~20" high) that currently has fake plants and we want to transition it into all live plants. Right now, we have a fluorescent light bulb and we are looking into getting an LED light instead. I have the NICREW Classic LED Plus for my own tank and it seems to be working pretty well so far. I'm not sure whether or not it would work for this tank because of it's depth. If it does seem like it could work, I would purchase it again because of the success I've had with it already. Otherwise, I am willing to look into other lights.

Nicrew is a really nice affordable brand! I have a Nicrew SkyLed Plus on my 55 and the depth is no issue at all! A 55 has a depth of 21 inches. I would think I could easily grow moderate light plants with it!
