Hi all
I added two plants about two weeks ago and now suddenly I've got about ten small yellow brown snails around the tank,
Will these do any harm? I presume they came in on the plants but want to know should I get rid of them
Thanks

They shouldn't do any harm unless you're upset by the look of them.  The treatments range from picking them out by hand (putting in a lettuce leaf helps as they'll congregate so you can get a lot at once) or you can try an assassin snail.

Some fish will eat the small ones.

they can run riot pretty quick ive heard so if you don't want many i'd take action now and get them out.
not sure if they take certain plants down or just the dead bits?
other than that i think they're pretty good for your tank

Throw them out in the garden, or in the bin. do not, on any account flush them down the toilet or put them in any outside water (ponds/streams).

Best way to dispose of them is to squish them in the tank, it gives the fish a free meal of good protein.
