Strange pond experience

So recently a variety of fish started dying in the pond, as I explained a couple of months ago, then just a few days ago Dad found a hedge hog in the pond which is a first for thirty years of living here and then today I found two dead magpies in the pond and then after I explained this finding to my Dad he tells me he found one in the pool the other day. Not being funny but is it posible this has anything to do with the Rona?

Maybe. Maybe Rona is a racoon?

If you use chemicals in the pond that could kill birds and hedgehogs.
If the pond has steep sides the birds and animals might go for a drink and fall in, then they can't get out and drown.

Given the very unusual lack of rain in the UK since the lockdown started, they'll be getting desperate for water.
