I was waiting on a friend to redo his tank and ended up babysitting a few of his fish. Some of the others went to another friend. I had one pleco, rapheal catfish, and a red fin shark in a small 20 gallon aquarium. He had a couple of fish that were not sick but not schooling well with their tank mates, so i took them. One small bala shark, blue gourami (small as well), and an albino tiger barb. Thinking this was temporary i went ahead and took all 3 of them. Since moving them in they all seem extremely happy. The bala's fins have all darkened up nicely and his shine has returned, the blue gourami is as blue as ever after being a little pale, and the tiger barb is eating and playing well with the other fish. Should I go ahead and remove them or keep them as they are for a little while longer? Friend said they are mine if i want them since they were not doing well with is other fish.

Thank you for any advise you may have!
Justin :p

Raphael too big for a 10 gal

No, as the tank is way to small for them fish to keep, unless you are using that ten gal as a quarantine tank and you have a very big tank.

meant 20 gallon tank lol sorry dont know where i got 10 from

its cool though, I am currently looking into a 36-55 gallon tank. A few will come out when its ready. But, that might be 1-2 months away, hopefully only 1 month. Think it will be ok till then? Keep in mind, most of these fish are pretty young. So their size is all still small to medium-small. They do seem extremely happy though. Friend was amazed by their color and overall attitude in the smaller tank.
