Okay, so I got 3 more albino corys to make it a total of 6 for my tank. My question is after they're done going through quarantine and have settled into my main tank, will I be able to get a school of a different type of corys? Mainly panda corys are what I'm looking at. Or would the 6 albino corys be a perfect amount? The tank is a 36-gallon bow front tank.

Do you have any other fish in the tank or just the 6 cories?

From the perspective of the cories themselves and the tank, yes you can have another species group, or even two more. But your answer to post #2 might alter this.

It is best to have five or six of a species when you can, and in my experience panda cories do like more of their own.

I have 6 neon tetras (plan on getting 4 more of those), 1 bristlenose pleco, and 1 thick-lipped gourami

You posted this while I was typing post #4 and I didn't see it. No problems here, you can increase the cories to 10-12 easily.
