Hello all:

I have a 29 US gallons tank (30"L x 12"W x 18"H) and I plan on stocking it with these fish here:

1 Dwarf Gourami (In tank now)
2 Gold Gouramis (Small versions and in tank now)
6 Ornate Cory Cats (2 in tank now)
6 Purple or Black Emperor Tetra's
2 Angelfish
2 Otocinclus Catfish

19 fish in total. The Angels will be quarter size and will be removed when 4+ inches (If need be). I have a nice Power Filter for my tank (Penguin 330 with 2 Bio Wheels). I'm not overstocking with 19 fish? If so, please tell ;)

P.S. I can cut back on the cory cats and Otocinclus Catfish if need be.

Looks nice to me. I'd choose the purple Emperors so you have some more colour. When you get rid of the angels, maybe another school of tetras. I love Congo tetras; with a black background they look superb.

Thanks for the Reply ;) I'll go for the Purple's and look into Congo's too.

P.S. I just did some research on the Congo Tetra's. My PH is a bit high for them. Here is a site I found about them.

Congo Tetra

What is your PH level Loupe?

The angles would over stock it IMO.

Even at 4"

Let the Gouramis be the show case for that tank. Its too small a tank for 2 jewels IMO.

Less is more!

I don't know anything about otos

The teras should be ok but since schooling fish don't really school in even a 4 ft tank... I am not a fan of them.

Try not to cram too much in there. a light stocked tank always looks best over time.

Thanks for the info on the Angels. The Otocinclus Catfish are small Algae eaters (2" full grown)

Otosinclus
