Ok, so after a horrible ice storm that left us with out power in freezing temps for five days, we ended up with only two juvenile mollies, and one wag tail platy. My levels are all a bit out of wack, but it's been so long since I first cycled the tank I can't remember exactly how to fix those, with the ammonia just water changes right? What about the nitrite and nitrate? Then, once I fix everything, I'd like to get some new fish, I've been looking at Brilliant and Harlequin rasboras, Beuno Aires tetras, and either gold, rosey, or cherry barbs, since I doubt I can fit all three. My tank is a tall 30gl, which I think is about 120 liters for you folks across the pond. What do you all think of this combo and which of the barbs would be best if any?

Well with the cycling process all you can do is water changes until ammonia reaches 0ppm, nitrites reach 0ppm and you get a nitrate reading. You can also add a bit of salt to help with nitrite poisoning. So I would be sure your tank is funny cycled before you add more fish.

You could go with some gouramies, platys tetras, corys, glass fish, rams, guppies, Hatchet fish.
