Hi guys

I have been doing research into stocking ideas for my juwel rio 180. I was just wondering if you had any ideas, I'm looking to get at least 2 decent sized fish (angels maybe?) plus some corys and smaller fish...

Cheers

If you have your heart set on Angelfish, then you are best setting your stocking around them.
The biggest trick is to decide what two big fish you really like, planning the rest then becomes easier.
If you were to keep Angels, then you can't really keep Neon/Cardinal tetras and other small, slim bodied fish as they are liable to be eaten.
What type of fish do you really like?
Are you looking for colourful fish/shoaling fih?

Im not set on Angels although I do like them, to be honest im looking for some ideas on the bigger fish that I could have, such as Angels, as i understand what you mean about prioritising the bigger fish over the smaller ones

Possible bigger fish for the tank include:

Gouramies - Pearl, Opaline, Three Spot
Keyhole Cichlids
Rainbows - Blue, Red, Trifasciata, Madagascar
Congo Tetras
Firemouth cichlids

Again, a lot of these choices depend on what other fish you would like to keep in the tank.
