Stocking Ideas For 55G

hi guys,

finally got my 55g today!!^.^ anyway i was originally going with discus. but are there really any other options besides africans?

A stocking based around a pair of Triangle Cichlids?

A fair few options for NW cichlids in a 55. Blue acaras, firemouths, sajicas, keyholes, a single green terror, various apistos, rams, festives, flags, honduran red points, ellioti, rainbow cichlids, a single threadfin etc.

As for "triangle cichlids", NotG, if you mean uaru, then a 55 is not big enough. These guys get to 10-12", and are deep bodied.

Speaking of which, have you been there in the last few days? Some gorgeous Congo Climbing Perch; Nanochromis nudiceps cichlids; Steatocranus tinanti cichlids; lungfish etc. all from a second wave of "Congo" fish. They are on show but not for sale yet, as precautionary quarantine
