still cycling

I have a amonia reading of 0.25ppm
a nitrite level of 2.0 ppm
and a nitrate level of 20ppm.


At this point I'm not sure if I should still add any amonia or just wait it out?

Can anybody gve some guidance please.

If i were you i would wait till the ammonia goes to 0PPM then add a bit more. Do this just to make sure the bacteria are stable. My ammonia when from .25PPM to 0PPM then back up again. It is now at 0PPM and been ther for a while. My NitrIte is coming down from 5 PPM to .50 PPM (todays reading) I am almost there. Good luck with the cycle!!!!
