Just wanted to know the quickest and best way of cycling a tank. And what options for cycling do i have? Any web pages for startup of salt water would be helpful too.
thanks all

probably the best way is to buy a lot of live rock (cured) - the tank may not even cycle at all.
otherwise, a handful of substrate or some filter media from an existing tank will speed things up.

one or two hardy fish will provide ammonia to get the tank cycling. This is somewhat frowned upon now as other methods are available - including adding ammonia to the tank regularly or some food.

On this forum we try not to direct people to competeing forums especially when its on a subject that this forum is more than equiped to handle and the competeing forum does not specialise in.

that being said Live rock is the fastest way to cycle, life rock plus live sand plus biospira (its undeniable that cycle aids do help speed up cycles even if you have to drop 20 cents a gallon of tank on them) beyond the dieoff from uncured LR a fowlr or reef tank is acctually easier to cycle than a FW system
