Star Wars Tank - Updated

So 'Dagobah' is still cycling but I had to move the tank last weekend so used that opportunity to make a few adjustments I had planned.

This is still unfinished. Theres lots more planting to do, but I didn't want to throw my cycle out with loads of plants straight off. Yoda was in the tank however, he is MIA following the move. I think he's under the tank stand which isn't moving until I drain the water from the tank! Eventually, he will be standing outside his wee house.

My plans are as follows:
To include more plants to give it a swampy feel. (Love my crypto btw)
Remove one of the lighting tubes to make it darker.
Place a small LED light inside Yoda's hut. This is then going to have lego furniture placed inside it.
Add fish (when it's cycled!!!)

Any comments, and more importantly, advice on plants (placing and types) are welcome.

I love it, it'll LUKE even better with the led in the hut. Are you not worried about algae on the X-wing if you dull the lights?

Would a lack of light not help keep algae away??

As far as I know low light damages plant growth and encourages algae. I could be wrong.

I thought it was opposite - people always say keep your tank lights off as much as you can during the day to discourage algae.

Poor Yoda, crushed underneath a tank stand with full aquarium. Can't he use the force to save himself?

I do hope Yoda turns up safe and sound when you perform your S&R for him.

Were you going to go for some twiggy wood with weeping moss attached for that 'swamp' feel?

Background is just a custom printed A2 gloss poster from Ebay. I found a swampy looking picture and faded the colours out. I'm not happy with it though, I cocked up the colours so once there are actually fish in it, I'll get a new one made up.
