Spring Onions

Well my mam bought some spring onions, and they look like onion plants, so I was wondering if I am able to plant them in my tank? As if I can, then i'm allowed. Also, my mam said they are very strong and could kill the fish, what are your thoughts on this?

Erm, take that as a no then. Just aswell I didn't try it then isn't it? They are not onions like the ones that you peel, they are spring onions, the ones with roots and stuff on. Still no?

well its understandable.. if you dont know where onioins come from, you might think they are grown in water.

I know onions come from a field, but like I keep saying, they look exactly like onion plants that are aquatic, from what i've seen, so it's an easy mistake. *Cough* Back me up here!
