It was a relatively sunny day today so decided that a couple of tanks should be given a complete overhaul and spring clean. They got new gravel and plants and so far seem quite happy with the changes.

First up is Keaper and his sister's tank.

And this one is shared by my little cutie Thumbelina and Kindralth once he comes out from under his eggs lol Going to try to find something for a background too.

Sarette......if you see this, Thumbelina is Jasper's sister.

Lovely bettas Netty :) Tanks look very clean and good :) that girl is very pretty  Do you guys only use IAL for spawning then?

Ohh btw, are those home made dividers or bought ones? My LFS has a few 4 x 1 x 1 foot tanks I can nab cheaply for the garage so need to divide them up ofc!

Thanks Josh.....but you can't have her, she's MINE :p

Not just for spawning. If they are looking a little lethargic then we'll pop a small piece of IAL in to help give them a little boost. They all get a piece after spawning to help with their recovery.

We got the penplax dividers from Modaz (DPFishways) and then just cut them to fit. They start off clear but after a few weeks they go opaque which helps stop them flaring off at each other too much.

That's just mean, time share on her :D ??

Thanks for the info on IAL, very cool how a simple leaf can much a such a difference dont you think??

I'll have a look for those dividers then :good: I think you should take us on a tour of your house picturing all the many tanks it holds lol :D

tanks look great netty.

I am to lazy to have gravel, all my tanks are bare bottom.

No share on her.....you've had enough girls off me already

The leaves are great and I always make sure I don't run out. Had to laugh at your spelling then "much a such" ....have you been out on the razz again

Thanks Newfishy......all ours were bare bottomed too until today. I just fancied a change to the guys that are permanent. The juvies are all still in bare bottom tanks...it does make it alot easier when it comes to water changing and cleaning.

WoW! Looking fab :D Can't wait to come over again and catch up with all the changes and see the new tanks! Hope everyone is enjoying their new tank arrangements and so x

Nothing feels better than a good tank cleaning. Your water is crystal clear! One of mine is crystal clear but the other still has a cludy tinge to it....

I always wash my silk plants and ornaments when i change the water. Do they use those lil flower pots things? I have heaps in my cupboard i should put in of they do....i think Ramjet and Shimmer are to big for em though :(

Oh she is a stunner!! Gorgeous colour!

Loving the new styled tanks too :)

Where do you get your IAL from?

S xx
