Spraypainting the back of the tank black?

Anyone ever try this? Im thinkin about doing it with my 29gal.

No, neva tried it myself. There was a post on here somewhere.....

Just cover the tank good before u do it.

Is there anyway i can search for things without looking through a sh*t load of posts. Like a 'type it in and press go' search option.

Yup done it on most of my tanks used spray enamel.Give the glass a good clean then just before you spray wipe it down with alcohol and be sure to cover the
opening of the tank with several sheets of newspaper and tape it down securely-Anne

some additions start the spray off the glass and end the spray after leaving the
otherside
several light passes is better then a few heavy passes

I did it once but it used a lot of paint !!!!!

Looked good though ... However what do you do if the paint chips ?? Never had the tank long enough to find out.

Try using keywords in the thread, combined with the name of the poster.

Like if you wanted to find the thread, enter his name, "enhanced" in the search user, and "spray paint" in the keyword search. Hope you get what I mean.

i did it, works great, 3 coats

it scrapes off easily though, so be careful if u do it on a big tank, then put it somewhere u cant get at it with a spray can
