I set this tank up about 4 weeks ago for shrimp--- another 2 weeks of cycling and it should be ready to go.
Shrimp tanks are really good at reminding you that patience is a virtue~

This tank is primarily planted with a mixture of mosses glued on branches; but, also has tall hairgrass, a few stems of Rotala "Blossi" and some recently planted Hydrocotyle tripartita "Japan' from tissue culture. Was having issues of green hair algae on delicate moss fronds, but fixed that by adding a group of ramshorn snails-- the pretty red kind ;)
The substrate is controsoil, with a small area of sand.

The plan is to stock with Tiger shrimp ( possibly Super Tiger, if can find) and Jade neocardinia.

Here's the tank:

Shrimp In!

Well some of them-- have more coming. But, a video of the Royal Blue (OE) Tigers and Yellow Neocaridina

Very nice looking tank, those branches really add to the look and make for a wonderful play ground for the shrimp. Are you planning on any fish also?

No fish- just shrimp.
