Soul Sucking Evil...well, maybe not EVIL

My husband and I have come to the conclusion that TFF (and a couple of other fish forums) are sucking out my soul. How else can you explain how much time I spend on here? Now, if this were a devil worshipping site or porn or something we could understand the blank looks, the NEED to check if someone has answered a question or posted to an interesting thread I am enjoying. The inexplicable URGE to be back on the site 5 minutes after seeing my own User ID at the top of my regular forums. Or even the thrill of just lurking when I don't have anything to say.

I need to get away from my computer. I'll see you all later. Or maybe sooner if I can't resist checking the betta forum just one more time...

I've got my hubbie making fun of me becuase of the amount of time I've spent on the forum since I joined last week.

I think the real issue is that he's having withdrawal symptoms from ebay, his MR2 forum, his Honda forum, his MTB forum, from playing Half-Life online.......


Thinking about it, I'm obviously doing him a service!

Then, of course, here I am replying to my own thread about not coming on for a while...I couldn't take it quitting cold turkey. I am going to have to back it off a little at a time.
